Are Sounder trains running?
Service is available from 5 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Saturday and from 6 a.m. to midnight on Sunday and holidays. Sounder trains travel between Lakewood and Seattle (making stops in Tacoma, Puyallup, Sumner, Auburn, Kent and Tukwila) and between Everett and Seattle (making stops in Mukilteo and Edmonds).
How much does Sounder cost?
Sounder train fares One-way adult fares range between $3.25 and $5.75, depending on how far you travel. Day passes (good for round-trip or multi-trip rides) are also available from ticket machines.
How far south does the Sounder train go?
Sounder trains run about 82 miles through three counties, Snohomish, Pierce and King. Service to South Tacoma and Lakewood opened in October 2012. In addition, Sound Transit owns the track between Tacoma and Nisqually, a 21-mile corridor that stretches to nearly the Pierce/ Thurston county line.
