How does Demon Drop work?
Passengers board Demon Drop at ground level into a four-person car that moves horizontally to the base of the tower. The car then climbs to the top of the tower in only six seconds! Once at the top, the car slowly inches forward into the drop area.
Does Cedar Point still have the pirate ride?
A pirate-themed dark ride located near the Blue Streak queuing area. This ride formerly operated at Freedomland U.S.A. and was relocated to Cedar Point in 1966. Why was the Wicked Twister closed?
In an announcement early last month, Cedar Point officials said the double-twisting impulse roller coaster will close on Monday, Sept. 6 to make way for future projects. Wicked Twister opened in 2002.
