How do you sign a CV?
You must declare on your CV: that the ‘The Curriculum Vitae is true and correct as at (insert date)’. This declaration must be signed and dated. Note that some Boards require that the CV is also signed by your most recent employer in relation to employment with that employer.

Do you sign above or below your name?
The signature line may include a second line for a title, if appropriate. The signature should start directly above the first letter of the signature line in the space between the close and the signature line. Use blue or black ink.
Do you sign a letter on the left or right?
This information should be located at the top of the page, either in the center, or indented on the right side of the paper. You then include the name and address of the person to whom you are sending the letter. At the end of the letter, place your signature on the right side of the page.
Do you sign cover letters?
It is proper business etiquette (and shows attention to detail) to sign your letter. However, if you are sending an email cover letter and resume, a signature isn’t necessary.
