How hard is it to get into Hunter College?
The acceptance rate at Hunter College is 36.4%. For every 100 applicants, 36 are admitted. This means the school is very selective. If you meet Hunter College’s requirements for GPA, SAT/ACT scores, and other components of the application, you have a great shot at getting in.
Can you transfer into Macaulay Honors?
We accept applications from first-time college students (incoming Freshmen). We do not accept transfer students, or anyone who has attended classes at a post-secondary institution after high school, whether or not any credit was granted.

How do I apply for Macaulay Honors?
Prospective Macaulay students apply online as a Future Student* using the CUNY application. You’ll be directed to create a CUNY Application account first and then to a special section for Macaulay applicants. *Students enter the program as freshmen; mid-term and transfer applications are not accepted.
